You may not need experts, but simple plumbing tools are essential. So bring specific tools, an adjustable wrench, a screwdriver, and a towel or bucket. Now follow the below mentioned steps to prepare your toilet.

For Bidet sprayer Attachment:

  • Drain all the liquids by flushing the toilet
  • Use a wrench to disconnect the water supply hose from the tank
  • Bring a towel or container to store excess water

How to Install Bidet Seat Attachment?

Bidet seats are the widely used toilet attachment for the bathroom. The manufacturer already designed the kit remembering the owner’s convenience. So you don’t need any plumber’s help to install a bidet seat attachment. Follow our step-by-step guide to complete the toilet attachment within minutes. You can apply the following methods in both electric and non-electric bidet seat attachments.

STEP 1:

First, remove the existing toilet seat cover by following our preparation steps. Now start connecting the bidet “T” valve at the bottom of the water tank. Remember, the rubber should be attached to the big bolt side of the “T” valve.

STEP 2:

Connect the water supply pipe at the bottom of the “T” connector. You can use Teflon tape to secure the waterline effectively. Connect the rotating bolt to the “T” valve by hand securing and pressing. Note: – Avoid tightening the nut too much.

STEP 3:

It’s time to install the mounting plate on top of the toilet. Keep the rubber side face down, and the curved side looks upward. Insert the mounting bolts through the upper holes and adjust the brackets. Now adjust the washer and hand-tighten the mounting bolts for better placement. Lastly, connect the bidet hose to the water inlet at your seat.

STEP 4:

Gently Place your bidet seat in front of the mounting plate. Slide or push the seat attachment into the plate. You can ensure the connection by hearing a “click” sound. Now it’s time to hand tighten the bolts or plastic screw threads.

Note: – If the seat cover becomes too short or long for you, adjust the mounting plate. Lose the underneath bolt and move the plate upward or backward.

STEP 5:

Turn on the main water supply and check for any leakage. Inspect each bolt and attachment if there are any adjustments required. Flush the tank and turn on the auto sprayer to monitor the installation.

How to Install Bidet Sprayer Attachment?

The bidet handheld sprayer is another budget-friendly attachment for owners. This installation is much easier than a bidet seat. A bidet sprayer directly connects to the main water supply to offer hygienic cleaning. Follow the below steps to install a bidet sprayer to your existing toilet.

STEP 1:

First, turn off the main water supply valve and the toilet tank. Rotate the knob clockwise, flush the toilet and hold it until the tank becomes empty. Now you can start following the next step.

STEP 2:

Unscrew the fill valve and remove the water supply hose at the bottom of the toilet tank. Connect the “T” valve and make sure the rubber washer is inside the connector. Remember, this washer is between the fill and the “T” valve. Hand-tighten the connection using light pressure.

STEP 3:

Connect the water supply hose at the bottom of the “T” valve. Secondly, screw the sprayer hose at the side of the valve. Avoid giving too much pressure while screwing the connections. Always make sure the sprayer head is well attached to the hose.

STEP 4:

Turn on the main water supply valve and look for any leakage. If you find any leaks use plumbing tape to secure the connection. Press the bidet sprayer knob and check if the water is coming out normally.

Note: – If there is no leakage, the handheld sprayer works without hustle. This bidet attachment divers clean water before it reaches the tank. So you get a clean and hygienic water supply every time.
